Marian Toth

Marian Toth

  • Acupunturist

Marian graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1996 with a B.A. in Social Science, with dreams of being a teacher. In the second semester of that third year, her brother was in serious automobile accident that changed her direction. She then headed to the University of Western Ontario to pursue sciences and later on to Toronto to study acupuncture. "Nothing else was working for Steven for his back pain and headaches after the accident - the power of these therapies was amazing, I was hooked!"

Marian went to Sri Lanka after three and a half jam packed years of study to obtain the doctorate level in Acupuncture training. That level of training is not yet available in Canada or the US. Sri Lanka was a surreal experience. You met the most generous of people from the poorest of places. It made you realize how much we have here and how lucky we are to live in Canada. It was a grueling amount of work, but learned and did so much in every 15 hour day.

Marian grew up in Manotick, a small (but growing!) town just outside of Ottawa. She now lives in Kanata with her two cats, Clyde and Luna.

Jennifer changed career paths after a number of years as a fitness instructor and Administrative Assistant with the federal Government. She has always wanted to help others and felt that Massage therapy was a natural fit with her interests in health and fitness. She has had experience in both a clinical setting and has had training in a palliative care facility. Jennifer uses a variety of massage techniques to best care for her clients needs, including Swedish massage, Trigger point therapy and Hot Stone massage.
