Bridlewood Chiropractic
700 Eagleson Road South Registered Massage TherapyAn effective form of treatment on the soft tissues of the body for many different conditions and for the relief of pain caused by dysfunction or injury. Many people are surprised at the scope of areas in which we can help, such as tendonitis, sprains & strains, tension headaches and migraines, low back pain, jaw pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, whiplash to name a few. Massage therapy has moved far beyond its simple "body rubbing for the purpose of relaxation" image. In Ontario, practitioners (known as massage therapists, not masseuses), are required to have a minimum of 2200 hours of training, followed by a rigorous provincial testing standard. As well, therapists are required to update their knowledge on a regular basis to maintain their license to practice. Registered Massage Therapists are regulated by the same legislation as doctors, nurses, chiropractors, dentists and other licensed health professionals.
